Genie Minimat

Too handy not to have. A must have for the cookie baker.

I used this with the white Genie turntable - one under and one on top, beneath my cookie. The one under the turntable did pretty well holding it in place. The one on top, though...the cookie stayed-put on the mat, but the mat wouldn't stay-put on the turntable. I found a workaround by adding just a teensy drop of water - not enough to actually WET it down - to the underside of the mat, but it still didn't stick as well as I expected. I often use silicone baking mats under my parchment paper when rolling out dough, and they work wonderfully to keep the paper from sliding around on my counter. I guess I expected these mats to work that well, which may be unrealistic. It's also very possible they work better with the acrylic turntable, since it looks like a smoother surface.

These DO work very well to keep my cookies in place when I'm using my projector, though! I'd say they're worth the money for that, alone!

I have several mini mats for when I am decorating with multiple flavors. I swap the mat out on my turntable to prevent cross contamination of flavors. They are lightweight but help your cookie stay put while decorating.

This Genie Mat is not only cute, but it holds my cookies so still! The amount of grip is superior. I don't know what I was doing before I got it!!!

This cute little silicone disk keeps your turntable and cookie from slipping while decorating! I use one below the turntable and another on top of it. Works like a dream. Washes up in a snap. It really is a great little item!
