These plant-based colors are the ideal option for someone looking to avoid synthetic food dyes. Since these are natural colors, you will be sacrificing some strength of pigment. Go in with the expectation of beautiful, muted colors, and you won't be disappointed.

• Per Chefmaster: "The refined vegetable glycerine can contain derivatives of soy. However, the glycerine is so highly refined during processing that the presence of GMO and allergens is non detectable."

Instructions: Use in royal icing, fondant, buttercream or doughs without changing the taste, texture or scent of your final product.

Acidity factor: High acidic ingredients, like lemon juice or vinegar may change the final color of some natural dyes, especially blue. Test first.
