Handy Drying Tip For Preventing Rust
  • Wash your cookie cutters and baking sheet(s) immediately after baking.
  • AFTER turning off your oven, place the cookie cutter(s) on the washed cookie sheet and place in the cooling oven. Let the remaining warmth of the oven dry your cookie sheet(s) and cutter(s). This tip can also apply to other kitchen items made of tin plated steel, including decorating tips and spring form pans.

Minnesota Girl at Heart

I’m a MN girl born and raised, now living in WI. You can take the girl out of MN, but you can’t take the MN out of the girl. My husband is a WI boy, born and raised. So, I purchased both of the cutters, MN & WI, and made a MN Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers set (using the football cutter, football helmet, football field lines stencil, round for pom poms, and rectangle cutter with sprinkles for spectators (aerial view of stadium). So fun to make, cutters were easy to use. The only downside...and this is not Cookie Countess’ fault...the cutter manufacturer didn’t allow for MN & WI to line up when placed side by side (state lines are not the same on both cutters). I wanted to put both cutters side by side and put a heart over half of each state. Regardless, the cutters are both adorable and super versatile!
