    • AFTER turning off your oven, place the cookie cutter(s) on the washed cookie sheet and place in the cooling oven. Let the remaining warmth of the oven dry your cookie sheet(s) and cutter(s). This tip can also apply to other kitchen items made of tin plated steel, including decorating tips and spring form pans.

    A little tricky -- thin 'arms'

    I love metal cutters, I love Ann Clark cutters, and I love ordering them from Cookie Countess. I like this cutter, but found that the arms of the cactus are a little thin, so I was fearful that the cookies would break. I made ing the 'cacti' a little thicker than my normal cookies in order to prevent this, but would have preferred to make them the same thickness as my others. I guess I'd prefer a "chubbier" cactus. If you already make thicker cookies, then this shouldn't be a problem for you.

    Good Cactus!

    As always, the Ann Clark cutters do not disappoint. This fun-shaped cactus is a nice size at 4”, it is well-made (of course), and it will be a great addition to any Cinco de Mayo, desert, or other-themed design.
