Ready to level up your cookie making? Thinking of buying an airbrush machine? Already own one but afraid to use it? Let us show you everything you need to know to succeed when it comes to using an airbrush. Each student will have their own airbrush machine and supplies to use in class. 

For the airbrush segment of the class we will go over:

  • Setting up your airbrush machine, the mechanics of it, and best practices
  • Controlling air flow and proper form when spraying cookies and stenciling
  • Working with and/or layering different colors
  • Cleaning, avoiding clogs and troubleshooting

For the stenciling with an airbrush segment we will go over:

  • how to properly hold and aim your airbrush gun
  • using a Stencil Genie 
  • how and when to use a Magic Screen
  • how to work with multi piece stencils 

We will also spend part of the class learning how to stencil with royal icing. You will learn:

  • What icing consistency to use
  • Proper technique and best practices
  • Tips on how to get creative with stencils and incorporate them into your cookie decorating

This is a 2.5 hr (ish) class. All materials will be provided and ready for your learning experience. We will spend most of our time practicing on fake “cookies”. We will not decorate a “set” together,  but you will be provided with 6 fresh and flooded cookies use your new skills on with as much, or as little, instructor help as you need. Pictures shown are examples of cookies you could make with your new airbrush and stencil skills. 

If you already own a Cookie Countess airbrush machine, and would like to bring it to use in class you can. If you have an airbrush machine that is NOT a Cookie Countess system that you would like to use in class, please email us at bakeshop@thecookiecountess.com ahead of time with the name of your system. We are not familiar with and cannot provide guidance on using dual-action airbrush systems.

Class is held at our Cookie Countess location in Warwick, RI and class participants will have the opportunity to shop as well with a 20% off discount.

Class tickets are non-refundable. But they are transferable - please email us with requests. Classes require a minimum of 6 participants to run. If the minimum is not met by 48 hrs prior to class, you will be issued a full refund. Our classroom is located conveniently off rt 95, at 30 Jefferson Park Rd, Unit B, Warwick, RI 02888. We have parking onsite.

Ingredients: White all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, salted butter, eggs, confectioners sugar, dried egg white, corn syrup, food starch, gum acacia, sodium aluminum sulphate, citric acid, vanilla cream of tarter, water, vanilla extract.

Contains: Wheat, eggs, milk.

Contains less than 2% of the following:Glycerin, FD&C red #3, modified corn starch, FD&C Blue #1, carrageenan, maltodextrin, dextrose potassium sorbate (preservative), xanthan gum, citric acid, proylene glycol, FD&C yellow #6, red #40, yellow #5, mica, titanium dioxide.
